Foundations to support a boardwalk over Waterfowl Park in Sackville, NB.
This project at the Waterfowl Park first required a little tweak to Postech Amherst’s driver adapter.
To build the boardwalk at Waterfowl Park, Postech Amherst had to use work platforms to allow for construction work over the water. On this picture, the platforms are being brought to the construction site by the Kubota U17 excavator.
Construction was about to begin. Workers were getting to the site using the mobile work platforms.
Postech Amherst also had to install a temporary substructure at the end of the old boardwalk to carry their material and equipment (including the excavator) and on which workers could go through safely.
Who wants to take a little boat ride? There was no time to be seasick while building a water structure like this boardwalk!
A lot of work had now been done on the new boardwalk since Postech Amherst first began the project. All the piles had been installed, yet handrails still needed to be fixed to the structure.
Almost done! The boardwalk is about to be completed very soon when this picture was taken.
Nice looking boardwalk, eh? We can even see our piles supporting it! All in all, this was a great project to do for Postech Amherst over the last three years. Even if the team faced some logistics challenges at the beginning of the project, they were able to deliver and live up to our customer service reputation.
